Check-in: Arrive a few minutes early and head to the Beaumont High School Pool. The first day of each session we will meet by the bleachers under the covers on the East side of the pool. Our instructors will be happy to greet you and expectations will be discussed before starting the first day's lesson.
-
Spectators: Feel free to use the bleachers or bring a chair to sit on the pool deck. Do not obstruct the pathway of any lifeguard/instructor.
-
Changing Rooms/Restrooms: While there are restrooms for use on the pool deck, please have your child arrive on deck suit-on, pool ready.
-
Swimwear: Proper athletic swimwear (no denim or street clothes).
-
Goggles: Recommended for Level 1 and up.
-
Sunscreen: If needed. Apply it 20 minutes before arriving so it doesn't wash off in the pool.
-
Towel & Warm Clothes
-
Swim Diapers: Reusable or disposable swim diapers are required for children not yet potty trained.
What happens if I register for the wrong level? Please review our level descriptions carefully before booking. While we will make every reasonable effort to reassign a swimmer to the correct level, placement is subject to availability. We cannot guarantee a spot in a different class, and no refunds or credits will be issued if reassignment is not possible.
Is skill progression guaranteed? Every child learns at a different pace. While our instructors use industry best practices to foster growth, we do not guarantee specific skill progression or "passing" a level within a single session.
Class Minimums: Please note that a minimum number of swimmers is required for a class to run. If a class does not meet the minimum enrollment 5 days before the session starts, we may need to consolidate sessions, adjust times, or offer a full refund. We will notify you via email of any such changes.
What is your refund policy? We have a strict no-refund policy. All payments are final. This includes missed lessons due to illness, injury, scheduling conflicts, voluntary withdrawal, or removal due to disciplinary action. In the rare event that a refund is issued at the Club’s sole discretion, it will be reduced by non-recoverable payment processing fees.
Can I get a credit or make-up lesson if we miss a day? To maintain our class ratios and scheduling integrity, we do not offer make-up sessions, credits, or refunds for missed lessons or practices for any reason.
What happens if a class is canceled due to weather? The safety of our swimmers is our priority. We may cancel or shorten sessions due to lightning, poor air quality, or facility issues. In these events, the Club is not required to provide make-up sessions or refunds, though we will make every effort to communicate changes as early as possible.
Classes are capped to ensure a low student-to-teacher ratio. If a class is full, please join our waitlist via TeamSnap, and we will contact you if a spot opens up.
Do I need to stay during my child's lesson? For beginner-level swimmers and "Parent & Me" classes, a parent or guardian is required to remain present. For all other levels, we ask that you support our instructors by allowing them to lead without interference (no "sideline coaching").
What equipment does my child need? Participants are responsible for their own swimsuits, towels, and goggles. Any personal or Club-issued equipment lost or damaged may require a replacement fee. We heavily recommend bringing goggles if applicable for your swimmer's level.
Is there a Code of Conduct? Yes. All participants and parents must follow our Code of Conduct, which emphasizes respect, safety, and effort. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, or unsafe behavior on the pool deck.
What are the safety requirements for swimmers? Swimmers must follow all instructor directions immediately. Coaches/Instructos have the authority to remove a participant from a lesson if they engage in unsafe behavior, are disruptive, or fail to follow instructions. Repeated issues may result in removal from the program without a refund.
What if my child has a medical condition? Parents/guardians must disclose all relevant medical conditions during registration. By enrolling, you certify that your child is physically able to participate in aquatic activities.
Our primary focus is Water Competency. This includes water safety awareness, basic swim strokes, and self-rescue skills. While we aim for excellence, swimming is a skill that requires years of practice; completion of a session does not imply a child is 'drown-proof
