Checklist Before First Practice

1. Register with USAWP (USA Water Polo), select bronze membership*, and set your club affiliation to Mountain Pass Aquatics.

2. Register with our club through our registration form that can be accessed through this website

3. Sign up for Remind to stay in communication.

18Us Boys: mpa18b

16Us Boys: mpa16boys

14Us Boys and Girls: mpa14

12Us Boys and Girls: mpa12s

4. Have a suit, towel, and goggles and show up ready to play!

All these need to be completed before an athlete will be allowed to practice. Due to the nature of the sport athletes must pass a skills test with their respective coach at their first practice in order to be allowed onto the team. Athletes should be able to swim 50 yards completely unassisted.

*Bronze Membership - As of now any tournament/league we participate in will only require a Bronze Membership. If we plan on participating in any tournament that requires a higher level membership we will let the athletes know ahead of time so that you can plan to upgrade if necessary.

*Trial Period- Not sure if you are ready to jump in all the way yet? We offer a 14 day trial period that  is available for first time USAWP athletes-only.

Update: We are currently looking to sport a 14U Girls team but we need more girls to sign up at that age level. If you are registering a girl that is 13 or 14 please just register under the 12U category of the registration page.

What If The Session Has Already Started, Can I Still Join?

Yes! Please send us an email to talk to a coach!

What Is My USAWP Age?

Figuring out your USAWP age can be confusing. It is based on your age as of August 1st of whatever the calendar year is. This is the USAWP webpage explaining it.
